The winners of the Online Film Critics Society were announced few hours ago: Cate Blanchett received her first accolade for Carol!!

She also received five more nominations: from the Broadcast Film Critics Association (Critics Choice Awards) – award ceremony on January 17th; from the St Louis Film Critics Association – winners to be announced; from the Chicago Film Critics Association – winners to be announced on December 16th; from the Houston Film Critics Society – winners to be announced; from the Phoenix Film Critics Society – winner to be announced on December 22nd.

Cate had been nominated for a Detroit Film Society Award, but she lost it to Saoirse Ronan, and for a San Francisco Film Critics Circle Award and the award went to Ronan again.

She also arrived second at the Dallas-Fort Worth Film Critics Association Awards, and at the Toronto Film Critics Association Awards.
