Hi, everyone! TÁR and Cate Blanchett are going down under.
Cate is confirmed to attend the Australian premiere of TÁR at Adelaide Film Festival which will be this Friday, October 21st. Before the film’s premiere at 18:00 ACDT, Cate will be walking the red carpet which begins at 17:45 ACDT, then after screening Cate will participate in a Q&A. TÁR is part of AFF Special Presentation lineup.
“AFF is honoured to host this special event screening of TÁR and to welcome Ms Blanchett as our guest. Her incredible body of work marks her as one of the greatest actors of her generation and she is much loved by Adelaide Film Festival audiences. We can’t wait to show them her remarkable performance in TAR,” Adelaide Film Festival CEO and creative director Mat Kesting said.
Production of Warwick Thornton’s The New Boy where Cate plays a renegade nun called Sister Eileen begins production in South Australia this month.
