Happy Birthday, Cate Blanchett! – Mass Update 2022

Today is the day! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CATE BLANCHETT! We wish that she have a healthy life and continuous success in her career.

In our own little way of celebrating Cate’s birthday, it has been a tradition of the Cate Blanchett Fan team to have a mass gallery update. Such updates aims to make as many photos as possible available to everyone. We have updated some low quality to middle/high quality photos and uploaded additional photos from events, movies, photoshoots, magazine scans.

This fansite is run for free by Cate fans but every year we also have to renew the host in order to keep the site open. This costs US$300 and the deadline is in August this year. We hope that you can support the site by donating — any amount is deeply appreciated. You can click on the donate button below or on the left side bar (when viewed on desktop).

Greg Williams has shared the colored version of some photos taking during 2022 Screen Actors Guild Awards. Nicola Clarke, who is Cate’s hair stylist and friend also shared a video with some never before seen photos towards the end of the video.

Gallery Updates – Movies (1997-2007)

Hello Blanchetters! Today is May 14th and we wish our dear Cate Happy 49th Birthday!

To celebrate this day, we have a new theme site, a commemorative mosaic, an updated Cate section and a huge update in one of the most important sections of our gallery: the movies one! It was a huge work, and we need to thank Denise and some older fans for all the material we have added, but we can proudly say that all the 28 movie productions between 1997 and 2007 have been improved with larger images and brand new ones, deleting all the double files, and fixing the misplaced ones. Enjoy (and support us too)!

Instructions: the icon below opens the whole section dedicated to the movie, not just the poster section, so, take your time to open every folder: it’s worth it!

Cate Blanchett Birthday Project

Hello everybody! Here we go again, with another Cate Blanchett Birthday Project organized by Eden.
Here are the details:

It’s the THIRD year in a row I’m making this project!
The past two years had been incredible, Cate received our projects and we even got comments from her!
2015 VIDEO / 2016 DIGITAL BOOK / CATE’S COMMENTS

This year we are going to make a fan collage!

How is this gonna work?

Everyone can join the fan collage! The idea is making a huge collage that express the amount of fans Cate has and the way she influenced each and every one of us.

How are we going to do it?

Everyone adds ONE picture to the collage. You can take a picture of the following stuff:
If you have an another idea, send it on the ask box and I’ll consider. 🙂

*A photo of you holding a happy birthday note
*A photo of something that reminds you of Cate (it can be a picture on your wall, a perfume, a book. Whatever you want)
*A photo of a happy birthday note you created in your native language (with the NAME AGE AND CONTRY DETAILS)

IMPORTANT: I’m going to add your Name, Age and Country on the photos I’ll receive, so make sure you write that also in the email.

Deadline

All photos should arrive until MARCH 29TH, 2017. Send them all to the following adress: CBFbirthday2015@gmail.com (the same one from the past years lol)
