TÁR wins big at the Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards. The film tied Best Picture with Everything Everywhere All at Once. They awarded Cate Blanchett the Best Lead Performance Award with Bill Nighy. LAFCA’s acting category is now gender neutral but they are awarding two actors. Todd Field won Best Director and Best Screenplay while Monika Willi is a runner-up for Best Editing. Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio where Cate voiced Spazzatura won Best Animation. The banquet to present the awards will be held on January 14th 2023.
TÁR is one of AFI’s 10 Best Pictures of the year. Honorees will be gathered at a luncheon on January 13th 2023.
