Cate Blanchett has donated a two-piece suit by Prabal Gurung to Voices of Solidarity UK as part of their silent online auction to help raise more funds for the @healthworkers4palestine Solidarity Fund. Cate wore the suit for her Variety cover and feature in May 2018 when she presided the main competition jury at Cannes Film Festival.

Cate hosted a dinner celebrating the 25th year anniversary of the Millennium Seedbank at Wakehurst. In 2024, she was named the inaugural ambassador for Kew’s Royal Botanic Gardens at Wakehurst. You can find more information here for events or activities you can do while visiting the gardens.

On Alpha Gang related news, the IMDb page of one of the producers, Mary Aloe, showed some images of Cate and other cast members behind the scenes. Filming has wrapped in Hungary. The alien invasion comedy is directed by David Zellner and Nathan Zellner, Cate plays Alpha One who leads a group of aliens disguised as 1950s bikers who are sent to conquer Earth.
