THE SEAGULL production at the Barbican, directed by Thomas Ostermeier, earned three nominations at the 50th Olivier Awards. Cate Blanchett earned her first Best Actress nomination for her performance as Irina Arkadina, Zachary Hart for Best Supporting Actor and the play itself for Best Revival. The ceremony will take place on 12 April in London.
Cate attended the National Theatre’s Next Chapter Gala on 5 March, she is a board member and will perform this year with Nina Hoss in Electra/Persona by Benedict Andrews.
Cate is featured in the new Uniqlo C campaign for its Spring/Summer 2026 Linen Collection by Clare Waight-Keller.
