Cate Blanchett wins Best Actress at the 88th New York Film Critics Circle Award

Great news for Cate Blanchett fans!

The New York Film Critics Circle has unveiled their winners yesterday, December 2nd. TÁR won Best Film and Cate Blanchett won Best Actress. Cate won the same award for her performance in Blue Jasmine which also delivered her second Oscar award, and was a runner-up for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Jude Quinn in I’m Not There for which she won her first Volpi Cup award and received an Oscar nomination.

The gala dinner where the winners will be presented the awards will be held on January 4th 2023.
